Kathy Latham (Haridev)

Kathy Latham (Haridev Kaur) is a KRI-Certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She has over 10 years of experience in the healing arts, and has been practicing yoga for nearly as long. Kathy trained with Gurmukh and Gurushabd in Rishikesh, India – a profound and life-changing experience. She is a practitioner of Sat Nam Rasayan, the elegant healing modality associated with Kundalini Yoga. She is also in advanced study of Yoga Therapy with Guru Dharam. She has a special affinity for women's teachings.

Kathy is Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga and Y.O.G.A. for Youth certified, and spent nearly a year teaching yoga to urban youth in grades K-8. She is also a poet and a birth doula, and, incidentally, holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Applied Social Research.

Kathy is known for her kindness, joy, dedicated practice and love of learning. She is humbled by the ability of the teachings to transform and uplift – and is passionate about helping others connect to their own power, grace and truth.

Kathy Latham (Haridev) instructs the following:
  • The purpose of sadhana is to arrive at the moment when we go beyond our ego and its limitations. Morning sadhana—in the amrit vela—is a special time, a time when we can receive the blessings and the grace of teachers from every age, beyond the limits of the here and now. It is a time when we can sit before the altar of our own consciousness and have the opportunity to clean up our inner world before we engage in the outer world—our jobs, our families, our responsibilities. We become still. We surrender our ego, our emotions and our reactions to the clarity and stillness, automatically, without effort, the perception of God in all comes to us. We experience this insight uniquely, according to our tattvas, qualities and karma, but the unity of the consciousness is available to each of us. This special week of Sadhana will be within the scope of Gurmukh's prenatal Khalsa Way program. Each day will cover specific themes pertaining specifically to women. Sadhana begins at 5:00am for 20 minutes of Japji - recited prayer or sutra, 30 minutes of Kundalini Yoga and 62 minutes of chanting. Sadhana is free!

  • This class is a journey into deep relaxation, designed to shake off the previous week and clear the mind, body, and spirit so you can start your Monday fresh. We will warm-up the body and immerse ourselves deeply in a one-hour gong bath. The power of sound healing will leave you focused and full of bliss to carry you through the new week. You will leave refreshed and rejuvenated with a deeper connection to sound and self.
